8.17.16 – MarchFourth into Rebirth

A lively brass band performs on stage, with musicians playing trombones, saxophone, and a trumpet. The stage is dimly lit with red lights in the background, creating an energetic atmosphere.

HUSHconcerts is proud to announce that we will be back at Hardly Strictly with our patented HUSHcast silent disco. That weekend and the following week we will celebrate this extraordinary free festival’s lasting impact on Bay Area music with night shows featuring Rebirth Brass Band and MarchFourth! Rebirth will return to Oakloand for the first time in two years for an intimate appearance at the amazing new Starline Social Club on Wednesday 9/28 (Tickets Here). The following night, they hit San Francisco to blow the roof off of Slim’s on 9/29 (Tickets Here). The following week, we keep the celebration going with steampunk infused brass funk heroes MarchFourth! on 10/6 at Great American Music Hall (Tickets Here).

Rebirth Brass Band
Wednesday, 9/28 @ Starline Social Club  – with DJ Mancub
Thursday, 9/29 @ Slim’s – with the Jazz Mafia’s MOBtet

For more than 25 years, Rebirth Brass Band has redefined the meaning of New Orleans brass band music. They “brasstardize” funk, soul, hip hop, bounce, trap and tropical latin jams to make a sound that is entirely their own. They will be joined by The Jazz Mafia’s MOBtet featuring Adam Theis and Joe Bagale. Rebirth’s bi-annual San Francisco visits are always a party like no other and the shows always sell out, get your tickets now.

MarchFourth 10/06 @ Great American Music Hall:

HUSHconcerts is proud to present the return of Portland’s genre-busting, stage crowding, funk-dripping, brass-throwing MarchFourth! This unique bass-anchored 12-piece band will invade Great American Music Hall on Thursday, October 6. The show will take you on a journey from the swamps of Louisiana to the gypsy camps of eastern Europe to the African jungle by way of Brazil, echoing the deepest grooves of American funk, rock, and jazz then boiling it all together in cinematic fashion with high-stepping stilt-acrobatics and dazzling dancers. What began as a Fat Tuesday party in Portland, OR. on March 4th 2003, has since become one of the nation’s best live touring acts. Tickets are sure to sell out. Please get yours now atwww.HUSHconcerts.com.
