HUSHconcerts proudly presents TOO MANY ZOOZ on Sunday, April 10, at The Independent. The trio, best known for their rousing performances in the Union Square subway station, features David “King of Sludge” Parks on percussion, Matt Doe on trumpet, and Leo P. on the baritone sax. Their influences include rock, jazz, EDM and African drumming — all of which they’ve combined into a unique genre they’ve dubbed “brass house.” Each musician is unrelentingly talented at their craft, allowing them to create shocking and energetic brass and woodwind sound-manipulations while putting on a wildly entertaining live show.
