Rave scenes and club dreams exploded off of the dot com boom transforming the city a wonderland of musical diversity. However bright lights soon turned into dark nights as the boom went bust. The ever evolving dance scene solidified as people began to fear the instability of the unknown, many of the smaller genres died off and the larger ones strived to develop radio stations and ‘top seller’ charts. U9lift (Ben maybe) is the resurrection of musical exploration, music that defies genre yet defines emotion. U9lift the underground, a struggle to create a new sound.MoPo is a master craftsman and his building material is the world’s most precious commodity: TIME. Consider yourself fortunate If you get a chance catch a Motion Potion DJ set these days. An enormous amount of thought, planning, and scheming has to occur to make them happen. MoPo approaches his shows like a college professor, or a football coach, putting hours of preparation and thought into exactly who will be listening, and how exactly to reach into their souls. Every set is different, and each can unfold in hundreds of different ways, and this intense focus on preparation makes him so versatile, so intense, and so much damn fun. These are “DJ sets” in the classic sense, unfolding like poems with every song a word and every mix or drop a bit of punctuation. Once known as the “DJ for people who hate DJ’s” it would be more accurate to say that this is the DJ for those who love live music.The Maniac Agenda is the mutation of the multi-award winning producer duo monster ready to thrill at will.

These New Jersey based maniacs feel at home in the birthplace of America’s first recording studio, but that isn’t the only record their hometown holds. Living in the most dangerous city in America, they are surrounded by adversities and struggles, and have even fallen victim to their own. However, The Maniac Agenda have harnessed these hardships into a sound that will test your limits and the limits of your sub woofer.Cory Wythe, the producer and guitarist better known as Marvel Years, has found a welcome place for himself within the increasingly popular glitch-hop / electro-soul dance music scene. In just a short period of time, his progression has become outright impossible to ignore. Much more than your average DJ/producer, Marvel Years is an incredible guitarist that shreds well beyond his years. His approach to blending electronic beats and shredding soulful guitar on his original tracks and remixes creates a sound that is a unique hybrid of EDM combing glitch, retro-funk, classic rock, soul, jazz and hip-hop. ‘Classic rock has been a huge influence on me,’ Wythe explains. ‘I love breathing new life into those older songs. I think that’s a good medium for bringing new listeners into my music because they can relate to that stuff. I improvise (on live guitar) over a lot of my stuff.’
While Marvel Years continues to make a name for himself, it was inevitable that he caught the attention of other prominent artists in the scene. His very first-ever live performance supporting Pretty Lights in Boston, MA (July 2013) has only been followed with an impressive amount of success and opportunities. In August 2013 he made a surprise guest appearance performing two of his tracks along side Mikey Thunder at Pretty Lights sold out Red Rocks show. Later that year, he was invited to hit the road on a multi-week bus tour as support for GRiZ’s Rebal Era Tour. Then, in the fall of 2013, Cory was offered an opportunity to do an official remix for Pretty Lights – ‘Where I’m Trying To Go’ that was released on December 10 on ‘A Color Map of the Sun Remixes’.

Spring 2014, Marvel Years embarked on his first ever national tour (along with fellow up-and-comers Krooked Drivers and Muzzy) playing smaller venues and clubs in fourteen new markets on the ‘Retro Electro Tour’. Later that year he was invited to join The Floozies and Exmag on the ‘Back On It Tour’. Additionally, he was added to an impressive number of events and festivals where he captured the attention of new listeners with his increasingly popular and fresh sound.

2015 continues to provide an incredible amount of opportunity for the constantly evolving artist. In January, he blew the audience away at the Best Buy Theater in New York City supporting another one of his biggest influences – Gramatik. His calendar stays full as he has been and is scheduled to play with artists such as Manic Focus, Break Science, and Exmag. Just recently, he performed a set supporting a near sold-out House of Blues Chicago show – in addition to performing as the guitarist for the debut of the headlining act, Manic Focus Live Band.

She created and directs ‘Shakey’s Record Fair’, the ‘Warper Party’ (NY’s largest monthly electronic music showcase), and the original NYC clothing swap ‘Thrift On!’. Shakey has been rated one of the best wedding Djs in the country and one of the top 15 event Djs in New York.
Shakey is a resident Dj for Gotham Girls Roller Derby competitions, Gemini & Scorpio Events (Swing House, Nouvelle Epoque, the Russian Baths), Rubulad, House of Yes, Bass Fueled Mischief, Dubday Mondays (Dubstep), and regularly spins events at the prestigious CORE: Club. She has performed as a guest Dj on WFMU, EVR, BMIR, WNYU and hosts the weekly ‘Warper Party Radio Extravaganza’ on ArtonAir.org.Qdup has been making dance floors groove and butts move worldwide since late 2006. Over the years, Qdup has released top selling tunes and remixes on many well received labels including Bombstrikes, Fort Knox Recordings, Bombastic Jam, Goodgroove, Air, ESL Music, Royal Soul, MustBeat and his own Qdup Records imprint.

Having remixed the likes of Fort Knox Five, DJ Love, Thunderball, Basement Freaks, All Good Funk Alliance and Ursula1000 to name a few, Qdup has garnered a spot as one of the most in demand artists for remixing friends of funk and breaks. Also known for his party mashing exclusive edits and re-rubs, he has gained a following via some of the webs hottest blogs, dropping secret weapon DJ tunes.

As an established tastemaker, Qdup has been a contributor to the UK based Ghetto Funk blog since it’s inception and has produced several tracks on their Icons series remix albums. 2013 saw Qdup break out on the summer festival scene in North America including Shambhala (Salmo, BC), BassCoast (Merritt, BC), Firefly Fest (DE, USA), Art Outside (TX, USA) and P.E.X.
