Vertex is born as an intersection of inspiration, and as a celebration – of live music, of festival culture, of Colorado’s breathtaking natural beauty, and of the self-expression and pioneering spirit that each of these awaken.Golf Clap are Hugh Cleal and Bryan Jones, a Detroit duo with an unmatched passion for house music and a seemingly endless supply of studio and club-focused creativity. And with releases on some of the world’s most influential house labels already under their belts, along with a lauded Boiler Room session and beyond, they’re only just getting started.

With roots in the Detroit underground, booking local and international DJs to play at their own parties, Golf Clap have established themselves as in-demand artists and performers in their own right, via an irresistible combination of hard work, talent and consistently being the last guys standing, wherever the party ends up.

Drawn to music at an early age, Chris always had an instrument in his hands while embracing everything from hip-hop and funk, to jazz and classic rock. His passion for songwriting lead him to playing guitar in bands throughout his formative years, but it wa
sn’t until being exposed to the cutting-edge sounds of electronic music that he realized his true creative calling.

Always eager to push himself, this charismatic producer spends countless hours in the studio sharpening his own production skills, where his notoriously deep and sensual soundscapes take over the dance floor. Never losing track of his classical training, his repertoire voraciously swallowed up every genre, and Jazz cohabitated happily with many muses—dearest to his heart, Funk.

2008: Enter: Warp Records, Squarepusher. The sounds of the electrified bass, the crunchy, tasty, awesome-sauce bass, were the crucible in which Joe Wendt was transformed into jOBOT.

jOBOT is an original producer of pulsating midtempo grooves and scandalously sexy downbeat melodies. An electronic musician of a whole new type, he fuses an immense breadth and depth of listening and training with funk-fueled bass playing, smooth vocals, and an ineffable balls-out, experimental, and creative spirit that ‘jOBOT’ encompasses.

jOBOT takes the live elements of his solo-work to their pinnacle in his electronica group, Continuum. It is a bold and radically new way to experience electric music—glitch infects live drum rhythm, live bass communicates with the textures of synthesized soundscapes.

One of the most forward- thinking DJs emerging from the San Francisco scene, Haze is a treasure trove of musical versatility. Rubbing the decks with a marinade of cutting edge beats and old school vibes, Haze is difficult to classify, but impossible to resist. He is best known for his work with SF’s Slayers Club collective, dropping his crazily eclectic kitchen sink sets wherever the spirit carries him and the bassbins follow.Denver, CO – Chrome Drones are a live disco-house project featuring musicians/producers from Signal Path, Particle & Tiger Party. Combining tight, funky beats and house grooves centered around both improvisation and produced studio work, the band creates an incredibly warm, rich, and deeply energetic sound. On stage they tie together musicianship and some of the finest original studio production in today’s dance music to build soaring climaxes grounded in funky disco and house.

Damon Metzner: DrumsDreamers Delight is the brainchild of Los Angeles-based producer Reed Krafft, who began the project in 2013 following years of working behind the scenes in the music industry. Combining the cultural influence gained from world travel and his knack for soulful, intelligently produced melodies, Dreamers Delight is leading a charged campaign that is quickly gaining momentum and turning heads throughout the electronic music world.

‘The music that I’m working on is representative of my unique experience, which makes it a little different than what’s being put out elsewhere,’ says Krafft. ‘There’s raw energy flowing, uplifting feels, and melodies that are meant to push you to a point of reflection – of oneself, the world and universe around us. My vision is to have my music reflect a clear divide and refreshing break from the norm.’

Dreamers Delight hit the music-sphere in 2013 with his debut Close Your Eyes EP release, and has since continued to put out multiple original mixes and remixes. Speaking to Krafft’s skill as a producer, Earmilk wrote, ‘In the near future – without a doubt – [Dreamers Delight’s] style won’t be hard to miss… he understands where he is headed and is developing into one hell of an artist.’

Krafft has garnered a significant following online, totaling over 1 million combined streams on Soundcloud and YouTube between his original productions and remixes. His most recent single release ‘Around’ pushes the listener with euphoric, dream-like synths alongside bright, experimental bass lines; continuing to push his vision through his beats. ‘Dreamers Delight… weaves a middle road between reality and a transcendental fantasy – beautiful, uplifting and euphoric,’ says Magnetic Magazine.

Krafft released his first single, EP and Remix EP under Gramatik’s United States/European-based label, Lowtemp Records, and recently finished up his first national tour last Fall. With a busy upcoming spring tour and major festival announcements around the corner, 2016 is shaping up to be a huge year for the ever-evolving Krafft and Dreamers Delight.Tortuga is a music project, featuring songs written by Mike Leahy (7 Shot Screamers) and backed by an amazing group of St.Louis musicians via the Big Muddy Records roster.
