Nightmares on Wax (DJ Set)

On Saturday June 18th, HUSHconcerts and blasthaus present NIGHTMARES ON WAX DJ set. For more than 2 decades, Nightmares On Wax’s music has been like the sound of summer. For George Eveyln, the man behind Nightmares on Wax the sun-drenched Costa Del Sol is a frequent home and production base, leading to the sun-drenched dubbed out soul he pushes. George’s reputation as a godfather of the rare groove and downtempo movements are well earned but his recent work takes these roots and updates them with every modern production trick in the book. Once again, NoW will return to San Francisco after sold out sets at Club Six and Mighty last year, this time invading Public Works with his trademark hallucinogenic hip hop and Balearic melodies. As usual George will be joined in the mix by DJs PLATURN and MOTION POTION. Marky, Matt Haze, Onemohit and Fortune will be keeping it funky in the loft.
