As we celebrate 15 years of SF Funk we give it up for 20 years of one of the greatest labels in modern music history, STONES THROW RECORDS. To celebrate these two momentous occasions we present an exclusive DJ set by the legendary ALI SHAHEED MUHAMMAD of the seminal hip hop group A TRIBE CALLED QUEST. He will be joined by Stones Throw stalwart PEANUT BUTTER WOLF and live performances by production phenoms HOMEBOY SANDMAN and MNDSGN. Rounding out this three-room, full tilt boogie get-down are some of California’s most respected funk, soul, disco and hip hop selectors, including ALL GOOD FUNK ALLIANCE, DJ ZEPH, DJ PLATURN, PROOF, GORDO CABEZA, REN THE VINYL ARCHAEOLOGIST and SF Funk Fest founder MOTION POTION. Superstar hype man FRAN BOOGIE will host this all-star shindig and as always, 1015’s incredible sound, lighting and video production blow fragile minds.
