How were your services used?
HUSHconcerts was contracted to supply equipment and expertise across multiple locations of a popular Christian church as part of their ‘First Wednesdays’ series aimed at engaging kids and young adults through dance and worship. This event was the first of many this year with the goal of making a splash through a fun and engaging night of activities. It featured multiple Student Minister DJs and MCs across all locations; with some offering karaoke and other onsite activations following evening worship. Each venue provided the lighting, visuals, and themed disco backdrop.
What challenges were solved?
The biggest challenge involved logistics; making sure that every location received the correct amount of equipment based on the size of their congregation in a timely manner despite winter weather obstacles. The other challenge was disseminating information among various teams regarding setup and technical overviews needed to operate the equipment in conjunction with each location’s unique offerings.
How big was the attendance at the event?
1060 people were present at the event.
What were the best parts about the event?
Each activation received high praise across all locations from both students and staff. Attendees enjoyed the immersive experience that the headphones provided; allowing them to tune in and rock out. This seemed to be the perfect crescendo to an evening designed to reinvigorate young followers and begin the year on an incredible high note.
